Looks Salon at Aerocity, New Delhi, is conceived as a calm, light-filled grooming environment within one of the city’s most active hospitality districts. Located amidst luxury hotels and a vibrant pedestrian edge near the international airport, the project responds to a diverse, fast-moving clientele by offering a space that feels both composed and immersive, shifting the salon experience from purely functional to calming and indulgent. Housed within a curved glass volume, the design leverages its architectural envelope to establish a continuous dialogue with the outdoors. A double-height reception forms a soft threshold, drawing in natural light and opening views toward the surrounding greenery. This arrival zone is extended by a juice bar, introducing a more relaxed, lifestyle-driven layer to the overall experience. The planning prioritises clarity and ease of movement. Styling stations are arranged along the periphery, allowing each seat to engage with daylight and external views, while creating smaller pockets of comfort within the larger floor plate. More private services, such as pedicure and facial rooms, are placed deeper within the layout, ensuring discretion without disrupting the overall flow. This balance between openness and enclosure allows the space to function efficiently while maintaining a sense of calm.
