A high-rise residence that redefines luxury through elevated landscapes, spatial generosity and uninterrupted views to the surroundings.
Set on a compact plot amidst the dense urban fabric of Kolkata, the design for Ramdulari Housing challenged the conventions of premium high-rise residences, proposing a model where luxury coexists with nature without losing its connection to openness or calm.
Designed as ‘luxury homes in the sky’, Ramdulari reimagines apartment living through a strong relationship with the surroundings. Nature is not treated as an accessory but as an integral design layer. Each apartment accommodates two full-grown trees, complemented by layered planting that blurs the boundary between indoors and out. These elevated landscapes recreate the sensibility of ground-level living, animating the built form while engaging residents in a constant dialogue with light, wind, and greenery.
With sweeping 270-degree views, each residence is designed to feel expansive despite the site’s limited footprint. Stepping terraces become the project’s defining gesture, allowing landscape to rise alongside structure. Every unit opens onto generous outdoor spaces, with terraces soaring up to three storeys high, creating a rare balance of scale and privacy within an urban tower.

The project’s journey was marked by collaboration and conviction. Despite scepticism around feasibility and structural complexity, the design evolved through rigorous coordination between architectural design, structural design, and Vastu principles. Four distinct planning typologies were developed, ensuring that every home feels bespoke and intuitive to the residents.
Ramdulari Housing challenges norms and transforms constraints into clarity. It stands as a confident built form where structural ambition, spatial generosity, and environmental living converge, offering a refined, future-forward solution for luxury urban housing in India.
