groupDCA MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

Manifesto

After 30 years of learning and growth, we find no greater fulfillment than giving back to the design community by sharing our knowledge and experiences through mentoring young design practices.

Issue in hand

Many young firms, driven by passion, overlook key aspects like presentation, communication, and design details. These gaps lead to avoidable mistakes that affect the quality of their practices. Mentorship can help address these challenges, guiding designers to avoid common pitfalls and achieve better results.

Objective

  1. Building Core Skills: GroupDCA will mentor designers to enhance essential skills in design, client management, project execution, material selection, and presentation.
  2. Sharing Industry Insights: We’ll provide valuable knowledge on current trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to keep designers competitive.
  3. Transforming the Design Landscape: Our goal is to nurture designers who create socially and environmentally responsible solutions.
  4. Creating Industry Impact: Through mentorship, we aim to shape the future of design practices and set new industry standards.
  5. Developing Business Skills: Alongside design, we’ll guide young professionals in project management, communication, and client relationships to build well-rounded expertise.
