Human-centric design choices combine sophistication and warmth at the intersection of work and leisure.
Nestled along Golf Course Extension Road in Gurugram, Citadines at Paras Square is a beacon for business travellers and tourists. The 14-story hotel offers a unique blend of comfort and convenience with its thoughtfully designed apartments, complemented by a 24-hour coffee shop, chic bar, and buffet-style restaurant.
Its strategic design brings natural light from the north while tucking supporting spaces behind the staircase core, offering sweeping city views. The space features three distinct zones: a meeting room and multipurpose lounge blending work and leisure, a central dining area, and north-facing balconies offering an alfresco dining experience. A striking bar counter anchors these zones, framed by slender brass arches that enhance the verticality of the design.
Centrally radiating stone inlays add weight to the delicate brass elements, while a mirrored ceiling above the arches further amplifies the visual impact. The central dining area uses subtle dividers that guide movement around the marquee food services. Custom in-house furniture introduces limitless possibilities in form and colour, breaking away from repetition to suit the space’s evolving narrative.
A soothing palette of yellows and olive greens sets a serene tone, while the furniture—tables, bar stools, and chairs—shifts in style across different areas, giving each space its expression while seamlessly uniting the overall design.
Slender brass arches adorned with indoor plants bring warmth and life to the portals that mark transitions between dining sections, doubling as dividers and spatial guides. The ceiling-mounted mirrors enhance the seating areas framed by these arches. The lighting—inscribes shapes above the furniture, adding a distinctly human scale to the long room.
